I just had to tell you about my exciting weekend. I got to go to the beach and meet up with my auntie Brenda. We went to a place called Cannon Beach. There were birds and kites and other puppies and smells and noises and sand to dig in! I had so much fun walking with mommy and auntie Brenda on the beach and running from smell to smell.

Mommy even walked me up to the water, but I ran from it. I guess that she doesn't understand that if I don't like the water in the bathtub, I definitely wont like the water in a HUGE bathtub like the ocean!
After we walked on the beach for awhile and met all kinds of new puppy friends, we went out to eat. I got to eat at a restaurant for the first time, and I highly recommend it to all my puppy friends! We got to sit outside, and the waiter kept bringing me dog biscuits. And mommy even shared some of her lunch with me....BBQ chicken salad! It was yummy.
If you haven't been taken to the coast yet, I strongly recommend you ask your human to take you. It is the funnest thing ever next to the dog park! But it is also exhausting.
I had to take a nap in the car on the drive home.
Hi Mr. Riley, I am so glad I was able to spend time with you at the beach! It was so fun to see how excited you were by the smells and other pooches. You were a good boy, even though you tried to tie me up a few times! I can't wait to go to the beach with you again! - Auntie Brenda
